The BoG’s new state-of-the-art headquarters, inaugurated on November 20, 2024, by former president Nana Akufo-Addo has faced scrutiny, with critics questioning the project’s cost.

However, the new governor, Dr. Asiama defended the investment, stating that the previous BoG office had structural defects and was no longer fit for purpose.
